holistic suite of activities of Kannada people

people interested in culture of Karnataka and Kannada literature
preserve and promote Kannada heritage and culture
network all kannada kootas / associations / sanghas / vedikes all around the world
to develop methods and to teach kannadiga youths to become responsible leaders, professionals in all fields and to become part of powerful democracy in the world.
the rich diversity of languages with roots and expanse in Karnataka to include tuLu, konkaNi, koorgi, havyaka, sanketi, bRuhaccaraNa , Etc.
to provide more prestige for the Kannada language and its culture.
to see that Kannadigas would continue to enrich our language and contribute to our motherland,
to help educational institutions in different countries to programs and courses in Kannada and it’s culture.
to strenghten the activities of Kannadigas here in North America and all over the world and to create a unified voice.
to promote Kannada Associations to preserve KANNADA Heritage and Culture in all Colleges in Karnataka state.
to respect the thoughts of the others. When Kannadigas recognize the opinion of the others, automatically it shows the respect we each other give.

Some activities of EKAVI are:
 
EKAVI needs more support from Kannadigas.
EKAVI is furthering the Kannada Software Development issues with GOK.
EKAVI is working on OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT with several people and Universities.
EKAVI is furthering the GOK School Adoption Program. We need more kannadigas come forward and sponsor some of these on small scales.
EKAVI is associating with NGO’s to work on several projects in Karnataka State.
EKAVI has taken email campaign on several issues related to KANNADA that are raised in the group.
EKAVI is working with KRIA forum to educate Kannadigas about their RIGHTS to KNOW the INFORMATION from GOK.
EKAVI is working with associations and Individuals on KANNADAIGARIGE  KARANATAKADALLI UDYOGA AVAKASHAGALU.
EKAVI is working to raise the awareness among Kannadigas in Bangalore about ANTI-KANNADA and ANTI-KANNADIGA SENTIMENTS.
EKAVI needs suggestions from all Kannadigas.

Mysore, Sept. 17 (KCU)- An e-mail signature campaign from Kannadigas all over the world has been launched by V.M. Kumaraswamy, founder of e-Kavi, a forum of Kannada lovers from all over the world, to urge the Government to implement the Sarojini Mahishi Report.

GOK School Adoption Program Committee. This program has started now in EKAVI.
 
 
GOK PHC Adoption Program Committee – This is new one. We should work with Dr. H Sudarshan in this regard. He will help us to do this. EKAVI need to promote it.
 
Job Website Commitee.  Some Kannadigas are working on this now. We need help also.
 
UDYOGA PHP FORUM :: Udyoga for Kannadigas

Committee to stop Anti Kannada and Anti Kannadigas sentiments. This is increasing more and more in Bangalore and in offices. We need to combat this immediately. We need Kannadigas to come forward for this and work on this.
